Lady’s Mantle is a delicate herb that blooms during Midsummer. Nearly 18 hours of daylight, maximum sunlight and warmth are ideal conditions for Lady’s Mantle to grow. Nordic girls are known to weave these beauties into flower crowns worn during Midsummer celebrations and wash their faces in the dewdrops collected in the leaves.
The leaves of Lady’s Mantle contain essential oils, flavonoids, coumarin and Vitamin C. The tea cleanses and strengthens the body, improves metabolism and stimulates saliva, tear and sweat glands. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory, diuretic and menstrual cycle regulating effects.
Northern Europeans have long since recognised the benefits of drinking herbal tea made purely from wild herbs. Hand-picked in wild Nordic meadows and forests, and then dried naturally by the sun and the wind. A piece of truly beautiful and wild Nordic summer captured in each and every herb.
